ResponderEliminarThe poppy is used as a symbol of remembrance because it grew on the battlefields of World War One. The flowers grew on the battlefields of the Western Front in France and Belgium

I think people are wearing a poppy because they are so proud of their ancestors, soldiers that fought for freedom. The EOI Santa Cruz's teachers are wearing a poppy to promote the English culture in the students, It´s a good idea!
